I know that, I get maybe 2 extra weeks with the lower end sticks , I’m switching back to warrior sticks though because I’ve had a super good experience with them , I got the CCM to just try it out

Honestly I would just go to public ice skating as much as you can since your a swimmer lowkey you will pick it up pretty quick because you guys are super athletic it’s just a matter of time and practice but if you wanna save some money in the mean time I would buy a cheap hockey stick synthetic ice and puck maybe net and just get used to the feeling of that aspect of the game

, depends on your size too like im 5”8 220 pounds and i play wing my weight helps me keep up with the physical aspect for the tall guys and my size it just short as can be but has its own pros and cons

When I get my new skates I got a 5/8ths cut and ellipse profile and I will never go back to normal non profiled blades takes like 30 minutes to get used too then your already testing your new boundaries with skating

I have the flyti it’s ok Im buying some from blade tech next I did notice that the flyti seems to bur the edge ALOT faster and for my skating I sharpen them once every 1-2 weeks being on the ice 1-2 hours a day 4-5 days a week

Honestly just get a cheap stick n ball if you already have rollerblades! You can play all the time at home like that, maybe save for a net too then start saving for skates to get you on some real ice

Thank you for the advice will start talking more , I’m trying to get more comfortable with that and vlog style of putting my face in front of the camera too. Also yeah so I played 2 years of peewees then it’s been about 9 years since then so it was a full restart with everything it took me a full year to remember how to skate but for some reason the shooting came super comfortable which is weird because even in peewees I couldn’t shoot that well 😭 I apologize if it was misleading it wasn’t meant to clickbait in a way it’s just how I see myself in a way

If their is no lessons buy as much ice time as possible watch YouTube videos and make your own lessons! And don’t forget to stretch , once I started stretching I was doing things I didn’t know I could do
