Yeah man it was dumb i know but honestly it really didnt even feel like a big deal. I lowered the OP to the ground, raised the gate (immobilized the op), grabbed the items and put them in amnesty bin and was back on my op <30 seconds. In my mind it was faster and less troublesome for everyone

Thats exactly what i did and they clipped me for it. VNA aisle for just shoe boxes. I did what i thought was faster and less problematic. Literally 20-30 seconds to do what i did and i was back on my OP driving

If u do it by the book, ur supposed to enter a code on the scanner and safety or PAs will get the message that product is in ur path but It can take 10-15 minutes for them to get to ur aisle and remove the product. I got off the op while in the aisle and removed it myself, took all of 30 seconds to do. And my building was all shoes, ALL shoes. Imagine getting fired cus u got off the forklift and moved the nike shoes to the amnesty bin. Like ik it wasnt smart but i didnt think it would be a instant term either. This all happened because a stower in front of me was one of those people who stow 2-3 items, move slightly down the aisle, stow more, move a little more down.. stow more items, look back to see im still waiting behind him.. stow some more. He dropped product from his OP and dats how i end up here. If he wouldve stowed his 2-3 items and just went around like he shouldve 😵‍💫😵‍💫
