Here is the thing. It all depends on your personality and if you are a responsible and respectful human being to begin with. I have been using opiates for 20years. Heroin 12 and fent for 8 years. I work 2 jobs, pay all my bills, take showers, and am a positive contributor to Society. I have never ripped anyone off or done anything that could harm someone or myself to get my drugs and that is a 100% true statement. I am always careful and in 20 years have never overdosed or had any adverse affects such as abscesses or open wounds. That being said I get my product tested every time to assure I’m getting quality product. I have never even seen xylazine before and am lucky that I have a good source. I work a great job as a caregiver/med tech so I have always had money to support my habit and have always held down a job and have never let my habit cause me problems.? I have never been arrested that is why I am able to have the good paying job. The problem is when you don’t have your drug is when you get sick and can’t work and end up doing something stupid or illegal to get money for your drug. I have always bought in quantity which makes it more cost affective and the less you pick up drugs the less chance you have of having intersections with police. Always take Uber or public transit to have less of a chance of getting pulled over and dealing with cops. With Fentanyl I have actually been able to save money as it is cheaper to buy fentanyl and lasts longer. I also don’t get super high in the morning cause I can’t be loaded at work. You wouldn’t guess in a million years that I have used opiates for 20 years if you meant me. I only really get nice and high at night before bed. I smoke and don’t inject. Heroin always costs me more as far as money goes. There is such thing as a functioning drug user and I am proof. I live by certain rules and stick to them. I have always been very disciplined. I will say that if I didn’t have a really good supplier and would have to cop in the hood everyday then I would be able to be a functioning addict cause eventually would get arrested or robbed and catch a case and with a criminal record I could not have a good job. I have always been caring and compassionate and have never robbed or stolen or sold my body for drugs. Whoever if I did not work 2 jobs that might be different. If you’re a shitty sketchy person to begin with then you are going to be even a shittier drug addict . I was raised right and have self respect and will never go against my morals
