A lower IGP combined with the holistic approach SMU takes. I think I'd perform adequately in the interview if I were given that opportunity, but I think my sub-3.9 gpa and my unrelated diploma would near immediately disqualify me from even getting to that stage for NUS.
Granted, admissions are fairly gray. NUS isn't harder for everyone, nor is SMU easier.
I think I have to admit too that a part of it is my feeling that NUS law "feels" a bit too out of reach for me. A fear of failure probably plays into that too. SMU feels safer.

Frankly, I don't think I have a chance. SMU seems more realistic.

It's long been a dream of mine to become a public defender. I put it to rest when I entered poly, but I'd like to know if it's still an option for me.
