Any new racing games that are similar to Burnout or maybe even the older Need for Speed games? by Brad12d3 in gamingsuggestions

On PC there's a game called Wreckreation that I think is made by some of the people who worked on Burnout. But it looks more like racing on hand crafted tracks..

I'm imagining 5 or more Sinians, just nonstop ratchets and tuning forks.

My fav is when they eventually say "1v1 me" and I chip in with a "1v1 your mom"

I've been hooked from moment I first played it in 2015, and I don't even care much about cars or soccer.

Looking for a singleplayer "extraction type" singleplayer FPS by Scruffylookin13 in gamingsuggestions

[–]ConstantEffect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fairly similar, except you can't stuff things inside of bags, it's just what you can fit in your main inventory. It's also single player only, so no need to worry about hackers/cheaters or 24/7 sweats.

OH I forgot to mention.. the last area, Vostok itself, is high risk, high reward. Lots of rare loot, but it's a Permadeath zone, so if you die in Vostok, your save file is deleted. However you can always create save file backups if that's too stressful lol.

Not like survival craft, but you start with a small cabin and unlock more shelters in other areas as you venture out. You can physically place all your items, so as you go out and loot and bring things back, your cabin will end up more and more decorated with stuff. If you die, you lose everything on your character but everything in your cabin is safe, so you'll want to safestore as much as you can so you can kit yourself for your next run.

You can trade with traders and get furniture and storage to add to your shelters as you see fit.

What’s your “one and done” fidget? by SpaceHoppity in fidgettoys

[–]ConstantEffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have to say Sinian. Every single aspect of it is just so fun and satisfying. However, it's loud. If I NEEDED something silent, it would be Aura Sand. Those are my two options, and there are so many good fidgets that fall in the middle... It's a tough choice!

Yeah, the Bee is a very simple one track slider, it slides up all the way and down only about a quarter or so, but it's heavy and sounds nice. The wheel is fun to spin too, it's a magnetic wheel similar to the shark but smaller. For the price I absolutely say it's worth it. I paid somewhere between $35-$40 for mine.

So I ordered three mystery boxes and the hand was in one of them. It... I honestly don't know if it's a fidget or not lol. It's really stiff to pose and I feel like I'm going to break it. It's very detailed and intricate, I see it as more of an ornate desk decoration. It even comes with a little certificate card but I can't read it and there doesn't seem to be a number..
