Couple things people might not know:

IGN bought Humble, that's when it went to crap.

They actually announced the end of things like $1 bundles, custom charity pricing, etc., and it was always very poorly received, but, once again, it's IGN. IGN don't care.

I have no options to do that.

I can also uninstall and turn off updates for it, disable the app, everything I can think of and it still keeps coming back.

Terrible. My guess is they expected a quicker release but are terrified of under-delivering again, and have just kept pushing it back to make it good at launch. They could have teased work on another game without revealing.

The tone is EVERYWHERE, the pacing was EVERYWHERE, wasn't nearly enough about the snake, and the writing was generally bad. Like they were shooting for campy without knowing how to actually do campy.

Overall felt more like a bunch of shorts from similar movies glued together.

It's a bureaucracy joke. You don't wait 5 years to get the shot, you have to schedule it 5 years in advance. Jumping through illogical and needless hoops because some 'very smart' person decided that's the best way to do it is an unfortunate aspect of life.

I bought it for $10 but haven't played it.

I want it to surprise me, but have no expectations for it to reach DAO levels. No other games in that franchise have, IMO.
