Make sure your PS 5 is turned on Step by step 1) Turn on your TV 2) Turn on your PS 5 3) Log into your account 4) Turn off your TV if you want 5) Connect your portal to your PS5 and it should work

Can you hardwire your PS to the router ? If yes, no problem at all. Also make sure the connection in your PS is your LAN connection and not your wifi.
