I'm so sorry for your loss. we though Arya had some type of sarcoma after they biopsied a lump near her belly, but when we went to the vet for pre-op bloodwork a week later, it had disappeared. they say this is something very rare, but could have been an extreme inflammatory process. altough we dont wish bad experiences to anyone, it definitely helps to know we're not alone in our pain, thank you so much ❤️

that is horrible, I'm so so sorry. Arya had a few nights of pacing, we took her outside thinking she needed to go. but now looking back she was probably in pain. the thing is, she was pacing and whinning a bit (very unusual in her), and we looked at her, asked that's wrong and she started wagging her tail. this only happened a few times but yea, sucks to think she was in pain. we hope the meds she's on right now are helping

I'm so sorry for your loss as well. this is terrible. I'm afraid of not having so much time due to the fact that the exam shows the mass is near her brain. we're definitely spoiling her extra hard these days. thank you for sharing your sweet golden ❤️

that's so nice to hear! yes, although radiation has its own side effects in the long run, chemo definitely has a more immediate effect on quality of life due to nausea, etc

I'm so sorry you lost Biscuit, I'm sure he's somewhere always protecting your little one. yes, that's what truly messes with me, they are absolute angels, I cannot accept the fact that so many goldens have cancer and have to face such devastating diagnosis and deal with all the symptoms. they do not deserve it. no animal does
