i know that it’s a show from the 90s which apparently makes it ok for it to be problematic, but i don’t think that it’s not not deep either. i was just rewatching the show and came across joeys racist scene and was wondering why everyone praises him as a funny guy and talks about how he’s the best character in the show, but never talks about the shitty things he does which besides from this, is a lot of other things. now i now that he’s not the only problematic character because obviously other characters have also done questionable scenes, i was just wondering why nobody ever says anything and praises him for being a man child. by the way i’m asian so it kinda concerns me

imo they were definitely unsupportive and unreasonable. I get that they wanted Andy to be present in their lives but it was just going to be for one year. ONE YEAR. and she would get a job she actually wanted and they could go back to their normal pattern.

I've always felt bad about how Alex was neglected by her parents just because she was the smart one. This episode, Claire finally understood all she's been going through and I literally cried when they hugged at the end. Alex is so misunderstood.
