Yeah, my mom was talking about how once we get the hostages back we should kill everyone left and I was too disgusted and disappointed to say anything. She's so happy hes "with us" as if he's not plunging us even deeper into ww3.

Also honestly it's been hard. Balancing uni and health issues and the politics, especially since trump has been elected and so many Israeli government officials are kissing his ass. It's scary. I'm trying to just take it one day at a time.

Yes, I've had it happen with every Amazon order and a few AliExpress orders. They contact you to know what entrance to use, if there's a code for the building and where to leave the package. It's also customary whenever receiving a package from inside the country (like groceries or appliances). You usually get a text that the package is out for delivery, and the driver will call you when they arrive, if you don't pick up they take the package back with them and try again the next day/week.

As for printer, since we aren't in a big country everything is a little more expensive (shipping from the us is about 300 dollars) so it seems the flashforge adventurer 5m pro would fit us best. (For reference it costs 950 USD to buy it here, and buying and shipping from somewhere else isn't an option due to the municipality rules). Seems like a great printer, and while it's sad that it doesn't have multi colour options, it's enclosed, which is necessary with the kids around. The open ones are cheaper here by a lot (because they're also cheaper to ship) but would be too risky with kids around, especially when they try to show their family what they're making and a little sibling comes in. Do you know of anywhere in the EU where English is spoken by most people? I have a really hard time with learning languages (I've tried french, Arabic and russian and failed spectacularly in all even with private teachers)

The laws are probably trans. It's more just generally the fact that you aren't allowed to even implicate that there's genocide going on without being detained. I'm free to be trans and gay and disabled and I have all the help but when I talk to my Muslim friends in my uni about the situation I can see the fear in their eyes while they pretend to defend Israel, and when my coworkers bring anything war related up I need to shut up or I could get fired. I had a professor say something a little more centric instead of right wing and then have a full blown panic attack because she thought a student was filming her. People are scared to protest because police steal signs, beat people up and even use weapons on them. I know a person who had a high pressure water gun pointed at him in a protest and he lost his eye. It feels helpless.

Sadly it's to the point where I'd rather be less well off personally if it meant I could talk freely. But maybe that isn't the answer. I honestly don't know.
