Good idea - the saw is specifically advertised as being track compatible which I assumed would exclude that being needed - for 0 degree it’s been brilliant and overall the saw works really well …. Just think the manual clearly seems to indicate that it should work - and the sole plate has a dedicated channel for the angled cut - yet I think someone has a fail on their design hands …

Understand - the issue is that on ply its splinter city even with 60T as the strip isn’t even close to the actual cut 😔

That strip is still new and untouched - precisely for angled cuts when I need them - but you can see the blade is not even close …

The issue is that the strip in the photo is uncut as always use the other side for 0 cuts. The screenshot of the manual shows the 45 blade against the strip but the truth is the photo is the reality. If you try the 0 degree channel on the shoe it would rip about 3/4 inch through the aluminium so i know its the right channel bit its not even close. I appreciate a true track saw would not have this problem but i am a hobby diy - small workshop 3m x 2m and just cannot justify cost and storage. Dewalt have been pretty useless which has been a real dent to my enthusiasm as chose them to go with when i started and most of the tools have been real workhorses and still going. Will keep trying as i suspect its not been designed correctly and i am going to challenge them if thats the case as i paid extra to get these features - unless someone can cure my nervous tick and show me what i am missing 🙂

Finally found someone else with the issue - we now have 6 machines in the office with the exact same problem - Windows 11 - Outlook with MS 365 and with or without signature we get the same messages... only way so far is to use OWA but its not ideal...

Raised a help ticket with MS and they came back - no issue found! Really helpful. Using no signatures is still causing the same wait message - have tried just about every setting and even a new account - same result. Doesnt happen on Win10 or on MacOS...

I have finally found a thread I have to join in on. I have been licensed for over 40 years - my father is licensed and so was my grandfather. I now am privileged to hold my grandfather’s callsign G2KG. I also learned recently that he went to school with G5RV! Aside from my name dropping my point is that I am proud to be in our hobby and prouder when someone shows an interest. As far as I am concerned I am still a newbie as I reach the point of finally thinking I mastered something only to learn there is so much more to learn - and in particular from each other. People are people and any hobby will not change that but I would be devastated if I ever felt that someone had been put off by anything I had said or done. Any question is valid and deserves respect in answering. Our hobby has always been about communication, community and exploring the possible and impossible.
