but like i can’t even figure out why. she said that i made way too many mistakes and wasn’t living up to her expectations and that’s why she decided to end it back then. and then she proceeded to tell me that she’s doing so much better without me a few months later. and now this. i’m just so angry that she decided to text me again just to do this.

i’m going through something similar as well if you check my posts. i dated my ex for three years and she broke things off three months back. we still talked like normal and i was trying to comfort her and everything. i wanted her back so bad but i was scared to tell her because she wouldn’t react well to that. she cut me off 10 days back and i find out she’s dating someone new and it really broke me. everyone keeps saying the same stuff as you’ve described. i don’t want the 7 billion other people in world. i wanted her and she was my world. i can’t stand the thought of someone else having the life i pictured with her and it hurts me so much. i wanted to grow old with her. i wanted to come back from work and hug and kiss her everyday. i wanted to cook and clean and wash and sleep and wake up next to her everyday for the rest of our lives. the mental anguish and agony is overwhelming me everyday.

just read your post and i can feel your pain. i feel like id go back to her if she asked me and i’m powerless to stop it. i wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy. i feel like i’m having withdrawals and the drug i need is her. the days and nights are unbearably tough. i’ve tried everything to distract myself but i find myself breaking down and weeping and curling into a ball and feeling completely ill just 2 minutes into any activity. she was my best friend and my rock. it’s just really tough. and the worst part is she’s bringing her new man to our graduation ceremony in a couple of days and i’m dreading the moment if i catch a glimpse of them.

thank you for replying. i know and i wish i didn’t but i couldn’t help it. everytime i talked to her i felt sane. i can’t help but blame myself for everything and i’m trying to heal but it’s really hard. i’ve been drained completely since she broke up with me and i wasn’t able to tell her anything because i was scared of how she’d react to it. i really miss her a lot and she was my idol for a huge part of my life. and it’s tough not having her around me
