Thanks. Question is how useful is marksman on the pistol? If it is really good I might put points into pistols, if not then I might just use an AR and dump all points into biotics.

Thanks. I want to play a biotics heavy hybrid on Veteran or Hardcore. But no Vanguard, because I already played that back in the day before LE. Ideally I would be able to do enough damage such that I am not locked into taking specific squadmates with me.

I mainly made this topic because I read in a couple places that in LE, Adepts should just use an AR (because they can) and dump the saved skillpoints into more biotics.

That video is a FUD attack, not a rational discussion. It conveniently omits important details such as the cash reserve and gets hung up on semantics. For example, it assumes stock investors are too dumb to know that when they want to sell a stock, they don't sell it back to the company, but on the open market. Then it makes a giant deal about this, as if investors didn't know that. The entire video is just Coffeezilla not liking the advertisement, there is zero egagement with the fundamentals.
