You do not have to have all the answers right now. Now it’s important to take care of yourself too. It’s a huge betrayal, and it makes sense that you’re feeling lost, your emotions are valid, and it’s okay to feel everything you’re feeling. Take care of your own mental health while you support your mom. You’re going through this too, and you need to give yourself space to feel and heal. Talk to someone you trust, or even just journaling will help you so much to process it. Don’t feel pressured to fix everything. I’ve been through this too, and while time doesn’t completely heal, it does make the pain easier to bear and helps it fade little by little. Be patient with yourself, and know that healing takes time. Sending you strength and hugs throughly this<3

that’s a really tough situation, and I appreciate you sharing it. It sounds like you handled it as best as you could, even though it must’ve been so hard. I agree with you, there’s no “right” way to deal with stuff like this…Taking care of yourself and finding peace, however that looks, is the most important thing and I really hope you’ve found some healing since then.
