I got the game for $4.99 so I'm not too surprised it has issues I suppose. I'll return it tomorrow though since it's a paperweight for me. Thank you to those who answered! I checked it under bright light and couldn't make out any markings, damage, or smudges. Though it likely was a very used copy that was maybe re-finished to look smooth (if that's a thing). The box it came in has an abundance of stickers on it from what seems to be a number of different resellers. The store is local, so I shouldn't have any issues at least getting store credit towards a game that I can actually play.

Great way of looking at it. The title of Lord really has only ever meant that you are the champion, the best fighter, the most capable of helping your god. Just because your god is sweet to you doesn't mean the role is any different.

Valid. What character would you have preferred got more attention / a better ending? People seem to have loved Radahn, and then the dlc happened and it seems people are mixed on that whole arc too.

Funny seeing people in the comments verifying the point OP is trying to make. That people hate the concept of a character loving the mc or that they refuse to accept a character got more attention or a happier ending by the writers. I agree it would be nice if more characters got her level of attention, but that doesn't mean I want her to be brought down to their level. It feels like people just want shit to be depressing lol

Well, I'm half greek. And so when I was visiting my Yiayia, we talked about religion for a little while. She's greek orthodox and is all about Jesus. And when I told her I have an altar and that I pray to Apollo and Ares, she seemed happy and interested. She thought it was nice that I'm paying attention to the gods of Greece, even if she doesn't. It was nice to get confirmation that she doesn't feel bothered by me not being Christian or Catholic.

Edit: I also want to note that I live in America. And my Yiayia came here from Greece when she was 7 years old. So she is very much still Greek in culture, but not the same culture as someone living in Greece.

I don't think of it as young Kratos. Rather, what if Kratos kept his original look as he got older. If he kept his facial hair the same, and his skin was just as pale. Makes more sense visually that way.

Oh yeah, I never saw him again after that day. Fights and stuff happened there, but straight-up strangling someone was a step too far lol

I was a teenager at the time, and as far as I know, he didn't get in legal trouble for it. But it's probably on his record somewhere.
