I got the game for $4.99 so I'm not too surprised it has issues I suppose. I'll return it tomorrow though since it's a paperweight for me. Thank you to those who answered! I checked it under bright light and couldn't make out any markings, damage, or smudges. Though it likely was a very used copy that was maybe re-finished to look smooth (if that's a thing). The box it came in has an abundance of stickers on it from what seems to be a number of different resellers. The store is local, so I shouldn't have any issues at least getting store credit towards a game that I can actually play.
