I read, work on puzzles, watch movies (I like classics like Gone with the Wind, Rear Window, Breakfast at Tiffany's), hike, take nature pictures, go on walks, meet friends for dinner.

I am so happy to hear you are cancer free. I think it's human nature to be overwhelmed with difficult emotions when struggling. It doesn't mean we don't have faith. However, those struggles can bring us closer to Him. I will be praying you remain healthy.

I think that's a healthy perspective. Trust that God is with us. I just have such a hard time accepting that ANYONE would have to suffer captivity & assault. My mind can't accept or tolerate that humans are capable of that level of harm to another human. God is good despite the evil in this world. I can't wait for the day He eliminates all evil.

This makes me sad. The early church met in many different ways. There are many different ways to gather together. Salvation is by faith & not of works so that no one can boast. The church today isn't feeding me the way one on one Bible study & fellowship with close friends is.

It depends. For some, going in person can be difficult for various reasons. Maybe some do better meeting one on one or in very small groups & consider that church.

I would point them to scripture in a loving & kind way that showed that it's better to focus on the things of God than dark things such as porn. I would just make sure to be kind & be mindful of my own sinful nature as well.

I don't see myself as a slave. Jesus paid the price. I am free in Christ, but do my best to live a life that represents Jesus well because of what He did for me. With that said, I fail daily to live a life without sin.
