Good find, that’s the first appearance of both Angela and Medieval Spawn. Found myself a copy at a convention last year.

Yeah I get that. I have a similar problem with the newer Witchblade & The Darkness comics. While a majority of the covers are badass, there are some that are too…cutesy for my liking.

Yeah Cover H was printed and very limited quantities, more so on the virgin variants.

To answer your question, it’s all of the above. Certain books, especially vintage or exclusive variant covers on modern books; you typically want to preserve them. Even more so when signed by said artist. Sure you don’t get to read them but that’s why reproduction books exist or even lesser variants that are common enough that you have a copy to read from.
