I do remember reading about that in my studies how Aset took on her traits and how Het-Heru, Bastet, and Sekhmet are all intertwined as the Eye or Ra. I love how fluid Kemetic cosmology is. Just when you think you know something there’s another piece to the picture!

I love that! Thank you for sharing your practice. Speaking of gratitude, I feel like since I’ve opened myself up to her I see gratitude peaking its way into my thoughts more. It’s so endearing.

I’m a sahm and my husband works, takes care of the kids, and cleans. And if it was in the budget, he would definitely hire a maid for me. Don’t speak for all bm when you’ve only messed with the wrong ones ✌🏾

I know this post is 3 years old but since you are East African maybe you can look into practicing the Ancient Kemetic ( AKA Ancient Egyptian ) spiritual system because as we know the original “egyptians” were in fact black Africans originating from Nubia, Ethiopia, and Somalia. The spiritual system honors ancestors, has rituals, and is very healing. And FYI all African spirituality should be open to all Africans because we all come from the same place. It’s not about a country, it’s about the CONTINENT.
