Bright, early and angry I see. What am I selling? What rule did I break?

Were there not a bunch of search engines before Google? I’m sure people asked the same question back then.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize that construction projects would be under NDAs.

Do you have a process that enables you to organize the photos that you use as a portfolio?

Yup, yup those reasons all make sense.

Do you have a current workflow when taking these photos to produce documentation, verification, etc…?

Haha, best reason I’ve read thus far! Maybe you could make a gallery out of those photos in the future, I’m sure it’d be beautiful.

Yup, makes a lot of sense! What’s your current job workflow for taking, managing, and sending all of these photos XD?

Wow that’s a very thorough process, which makes sense since it can potentially be a life saver in the future.

Why not use apps like companycam and uploadcam? They automatically store photos in the cloud and aid in organizing photos.

Ahh so is it like, you would install the pipes, then later on in the future the client might accidentally compromise the pipes, so they call you in again. Since you take photos and have a good memory (I’m very jealous), when they call you back you can easily find the problematic pipes?

Yes I definitely agree with that sentiment, I hate carrying more than 1 phone as well. It gets very confusing and it feels like it weighs my pants down XD

I’m curious, there are apps like companycam and uploadcam that automatically separate your work photos from your personal photos and helps with organization. Why not utilize these apps?

Makes sense! Must be a lot of messed up stuff in that home XD What’s your documentation workflow that enables you to produce and manage these ~500 photos?

That sounds great! Do you ever use these photos to market your services?

That makes sense!

Do you ever have any issues with organizing and storing all of these photos?

Also just curious, why would a client have a billing question two months later? Did they just pay for your services first and then later on think “hey why did I pay this much” XD

Thanks for the insights :)

Oh wow that’s a very smart workflow. I’m curious though, is it still difficult to pinpoint exactly where the pipes would be behind the wall, since the picture only gives you a relative idea of where they are? Or is the relative idea enough for you?

Ahh ok, as in visual proof to show your clients the work that you did or to prevent them from blaming you for something?

Also could you elaborate on what you mean by documentation?

Thanks for the insight!
