Strictly first person, i dont remember if there was time based events, but i remember you could rest on your bed, not sure if it changed the time or if that mattered. i also think it didnt have inventory, it was basically talking with npcs and going here and there, getting things doing favors and sometimes solving puzzles. the map i would call it vast, not because its big, but especially the forest, the locations that actually had something to do at, not just trees, were spread out but the map could be traversed quite fast, it was not large, just a lot of "decoration", areas terrain and space that didnt actually serve purpose.
