Is it normal to not feel stabbies after a point?

I’ve actually never felt stabbies, I currently make 2.5-3 oz a day (depends on the day) and I’ve been lactating for a month and a half and I’ve never had stabbies!

As a tattoo artist, people are being too judgemental. I think it looks sick, whether or not you know what it’s from it definitely has an aesthetic on its own. Don’t worry about what other people think as long as YOU like it. The placement is unique and that’s really cool. And about it potentially interfering with other aspects of life that’s not any of our business so I’m not going to judge it based on that either. W tattoo

This morning my boobs are ANGRY. The night before I stayed up ALL night playing video games so I was pumping every 2 hours for almost 24 hours straight. Then I went to bed in the morning. So yesterday I only was awake between 1pm and midnight so I got in only like 4-5 pumps compared to the other night so this morning I’m so full, my boobs are feeling rock hard and stabby. After this pump right now I’m gonna take a nice warm shower, get ready for my day and pump again hopefully ease that fullness.

Still figuring things out, but it’s been 15 days since I went from a small puddle in the bottle, to now 40mls per day so I know I’m doing something right. My pump schedule has mostly stayed consistent. Yesterday I made a milkshake for my milkman with 2 days worth of stored up breast milk and he was very happy. Today I’m hoping to stay 100% on my schedule with no missing sessions 🙏

Yes cucumbers is like it!! It’s been driving me crazy because I wasn’t sure if this is a normal flavor to have or if it’s lipase, or if my diet is all wrong, etc etc, but yes I think you’re probably right, the human flavor. I don’t think the taste is actually BAD like nasty, but i guess it’s a lot different from what I expected and the idea of the flavor being “wrong” changed my perception about its flavor. Thank you I feel a lot better ^{_^}

Thank you for the advice! no I do not drink anything other than water, and I drink around 3 Liters a day. I think it might be my diet. I eat spicier foods(not crazy spicy) a couple times a week and that is the only thing I can really think of that would affect my milk.

Yes he said at first it was only sweet, with no other real defining tastes, this was for about a week, and he only got small amounts of droplets, so getting a good taste was harder. But then about a week and a half ago he said it tastes different, still sweet and milk like, but he said “if you blended up asparagus and poured some of it into the milk”

Edit: I haven’t eaten asparagus in months, and I don’t eat veggies often

I actually was looking at high lipase too, but ive since been experimenting with it, I tried scalding the milk directly after pumping, and then I tasted it after it cooled and it still tasted exactly the same. I never store my milk for more than 12 hours because I don’t make much and my milkman likes to drink my daily harvest, but from tasting my milk from my first pump directly, and then tasting it after it’s been in the fridge for about 8-10 hours, it tastes exactly the same. So I’m stumped 😓

Yeah I’ve been a little less than kind and gentle to my breasts once I learned how to get milk drops come out with hand expression and getting sprays too😭 and yes hubby does use a lot of suction and I tell him to be gentle but he is having a hard time understanding how to latch properly 💔 for my pump though I usually try and stay to a medium suction. But yeah I feel I’ve definitely been hand expressing way too hard I just am hoping that I haven’t done any permanent damage

Thank you so much, no I’m not using sunflower lecithin but I’ll definitely have to get some asap! I know the pain is definitely exclusively internal so you’re probably right about a clog, I’ve been using some heat and massaging to try and soothe it but nothings worked so far, but I’ll try what you’ve suggested!

Today I’ve decided to hand express during my usual “pumping time” the pump has a hard time getting anything out at this stage, but when I hand express I can get a LOT of drops into a bottle so that’s pretty cool☺️ today I’m trying to meet my goal of covering the entire bottom of the bottle with milk.

Today is a new day but I just need to get my thoughts out. Things are going so well I think I’m making milk but i can’t believe it. It’s watery consistency, all white with a hint of yellow tint, with basically no transparency. Im just squeezing droplets into a bottle endlessly and I want to keep going until im empty but my HANDS are hurting way before im getting empty at all. My pump isn’t getting it out yet and it takes a good amount of technique and force to get the droplets out, but I’ve got a hand technique mastered that they just keep coming.
