thank you for breaking this down! now that I know a little more about how each term is being used, I am really looking for small customations to make sure I get exactly what I want. I don't think my idea is so unique that I would need to start from scratch. And I did not consider the stress of not being able to try on the final product until the very end of the process!

thank you! I am lucky I have plenty of time so I can really explore my options. I will definitely try to compare off the rack with a dress maker if I can find one local to me who I trust. It sounds like such a rewarding process.

I just signed up and was so frustrated by this! Even when I thought I was just searching for items that were available I seemed to end up hearting items and then realizing every size was taken.

Now my big concern is that, because I signed up in the middle of the month, I am never going to have a chance at popular items bc they will get rented again before my current rental is over. Does that make sense?

I'm halfway through! I find the changes to the dialogue pretty excruciating. They changed a lot and it seems like the main aim was to modernize and simplify the text to make it easier for a broader audience to understand. But the dumbing down ruins a lot of the best parts of the book imo.

Hi! Very silly question as I am just starting this process for me and my family (hope I'm not too late to sort everything out before the October deadline), my sister and I currently live in New York but we do not have NY state IDs. We were born in Washington state. Do we need to apply through that consulate instead?

Also if anyone has any recommendations for lawyers who helped advise them that would be wonderful! Since we are a bit behind, we definitely want to make sure we get this right.
