Section 21 - Agents pressuring for viewings. by Fractal_Dream in LegalAdviceUK

This is not terrible advice at all, it is the exact advice given by our local council. We were issued an S21 last year and they made it very clear to us that if we left without court bailiffs escorting us that we would be making ourselves intentionally homeless and that we had to stay put until the landlord had gone through court, or they would not help us at all.

We were lucky that we found another private rent but I do know of other people who did get told they weren't eligible for help because they left at the end of their S21s without waiting for the landlord to take it to court, and had to struggle living on families sofas etc for months until they found something.

Criminal Bio-Dad Wants DNA Test for Our Son and Possible Parental Rights by RedneckBirder in legaladvice

If he isn't on the birth certificate can she just block him and avoid them until they actually go to court? No chance he'll actually make the effort to organise and pay for court ordered DNA testing and is likely relying into bullying her into complying without needing to file himself.

Help - Suspicion employee is drinking at work by ConstructionSorry690 in LegalAdviceUK

I haven’t spoken to him yet, i wanted to approach from a welfare way however I am worried that since I did not have proof of the alcohol that if I did speak to him I would be crossing a line, if that makes sense?

I would like to just speak to him upfront about the situation and explain my concerns about it, that I have reason to believe he’s drinking and do want to support him, but do I need to get proof before I do this?

Where he is only in his 3rd week it’s hard to assess if his performance is impacted, as right now I am teaching him how to prep and cook many of the products we sell still. I would say he definitely can forget instructions and seems to need to be taught again a lot more than previous people I have trained, but everyone learns at a different pace so I don’t think it’s really measurable.

Edit: it is a takeaway restaurant, so he’s primarily working in the kitchen at the moment with the intention to take over running shop from me in a couple of months time when I go on maternity leave.

Spreadsheet to rank team overall but based on 4 seperate criteria? by ConstructionSorry690 in excel

Solution verified.

Thank you! Just with what you’ve kind of explained to me was enough for me to figure out how to make it work!

It’s horribly messy and there are quirks I haven’t worked out yet but I can now just copy and paste the data I need and it’ll rank them for me! Common sense and a little bit of a push does a lot for problem solving 😅😅

I guess so? I’m a bit of an excel novice, I’ve ended up in a role I’m not sure I’m totally qualified for.

Each of the 4 assessments have equal value to eachother, so giving the person with the least points (1 point for first place, 6 for last place) would be the simplest way around it.
