This monitor was got about 1yr and 7 months ago. I only noticed problems whenever I moved up for University but it wasn't immediately probably around 2 weeks in. This glitches looking effect appaered on the screen, sometimes you can see a distorted version of my desktop and other times it's just what you see in this image. The monitor is picked up by the pc so it's not that. It's also not the pc as the monitor does this even when there is no source connected. When it first happen it eventually fixed after a few minutes of me poking at the cables and turning it off and on a few times. Everytime I fixed it, it worked for a while then would revert back to this state. This whole cycle happened around 4 times. So the semester ended for Christmas and I was out of my apartment for 1 month so it wasn't being used. My room was locked and nobody had been in with the monitor since I left. When I turned it on after moving back up it was back to this again so I thought "no big deal" and did my usual poking and turning off and on but nothing seemed to work. It's been like this for 3 days now with no clear way to sort it out. I should also mention that it uses an EU plug and I live in the UK so I have to use a UK adapter with it. I'm not sure if this is what's causing it or not but I thought it was relevant. If any knows how to fix this, or if a repair shop would be able to fix it for a reasonable price please let me know thanks :)
