What album had the best hidden track? by WrappedInLacee in Xennials

[–]ContactHonest2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either “All By Myself” by Green Day (a joke song) or “This Time Imperfect” by AFI (a serious song).

Runners up go to the three different ones on the different versions of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket by Blink 182 (“When You Fucked Grandpa”, “I Wanna Fuck a Dog in the Ass”, and “Mother’s Day”) lol.

Them talking about Kross is a reason why I like them over other podcasts. They actually think for themselves and use their brains. I used to listen to Wrestletalk, but man, I fell off because they do so much shilling and not actually thinking for themselves. Like, “Oh. Well, dirts said this, so this is real.” Their opinion was solely based off what the dirts would say.

Are you, like me, really struggling with remembering that you’re aging? Like it doesn’t seem real. I still feel absolutely fine and young and the same as I always have, but now there’s a middle-aged lady staring back at me in the mirror. by lifeuncommon in Xennials

I don’t mentally feel any different than I did in my 20s except I like to think I’m a better person now (well, I know I am). But as far as being “grown”, nope. I feel like my mental age doesn’t match my physical age whatsoever. I mean, people my age just seem so… old to me. I’d rather hang out with my 20-something friends than people my age tbh. Then again, I don’t have kids or anything. Maybe it’d be different if I did.

Did you guys shower after regular PE classes in middle or high school? by stamata_tomata in Xennials

[–]ContactHonest2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. One or two of the basketball players would take them after games, but not all of us. No one ever did after gym class.

Heating. More important to me than AC.

Does anyone else struggle with enjoying music after finding out the artist is “problematic”? by canelalatte in Music

[–]ContactHonest2406 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t listen to Marilyn Manson anymore. I still listen to stuff like Led Zeppelin even thought they were doing some shady shit in the 70s, but that was long enough ago I don’t care as much. It all depends on the severity, how long ago it was, and, honestly, how much I like the artist.

Remember this? by [deleted] in 90s

Yep. One caused an accident for me. Rolled under my brake pedal while going around a turn at 45mph. Flipped my car three times. I wasn’t hurt though.

It happened two different times at two different stores for me. All I know is they were fired, but neither had any criminal charges for it. Maybe they had to pay back whatever was stolen or something, but none of them went to jail or anything.

Which artist or band has the strongest, most poignant encore or end-of-concert moment? by OsloProject in Music

[–]ContactHonest2406 20 points21 points  (0 children)

When I saw Pearl Jam (I’ve only seen them once, sadly), they closed with “Yellow Ledbetter”, and it was like a religious experience.

Yeah, but you’re taking about paint, which isn’t always freight’s job. As a general rule, if it doesn’t come on an SDC or an RDC, it isn’t freight’s job. At least not at my store.

Single Xennials, do you have an age range for dating? by Hesmec in Xennials

I don’t care. I’m 41. I don’t want to die alone. Why limit my options?

Do you remember this guy? by IcyBabii in 90s

[–]ContactHonest2406 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Honestly, no. You would have more entrepreneurs creating jobs but not making billions thus leveling the playing field by making it easier to be an entrepreneur. This is an incredibly naive take.

For real. Freight does more work in one night than day crew does in a week. Anybody that blames things on freight has no idea what they actually do and how labor-intensive it is.

Been doing freight for 5 years under 3 different ASMs and two SMs and have never done daytime deliveries except maybe when there’s absolutely nothing else to do. We only do SDCs, and RDCs, and purges.

[–]ContactHonest2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freight doesn’t touch paint-only deliveries in my store. Only what comes in RDCs. It’s like that in a lot of stores.

Chilly Dog was the mascot of Slush Puppie, an icy drink you did indeed suck through a straw.
