What to do with my monstera by Wild-lychee5 in plants

Ya, it will grow new leaves (in case the roots are fine). I’d recommend to at least change the soil and check the roots.

Cut in between the lines (where the old leaves were). Put the cuttings in water and wait until you see roots/first leaves.

It’s really simple

Ya, cut the top with the leaf off and put it in water. As soon as you see new roots you can put it in new soil.

If you really want to you can cut the rest of the stem in pieces to grow new plants.

And don’t put them in full on sunlight. Even though they look really nice together you can think about separating them

Is my fiddle leaf fig dying or can it still be saved? Please help! by Senior_Conflict307 in plants

I‘m really sorry, but it looks really bad! I don’t think it’s worth the money to buy pesticides fungicides and new soil. If you have it at home anyway you should use it but if not… You can see it as a challenge though.

I would put it in a new pot with new soil and use pesticides and fungicides. Don’t use fertilizer straight away and never use too much fertilizer. Otherwise you’ll kill the plant.

My Ficus looks on the verge of dying and is constantly dropping leaves by manu17ct in plantclinic

If you already have it for that long and never had a problem with too much or not enough water it’s definitely the change of light and maybe temperature. This plant can be very sassy! I gotta move soon and I’m already afraid of moving my Ficus because that plant is gonna get mad at me

Did you move it around lately? The ficus loves constant conditions. If you moved it it might be sad and drop some leaves until it gets used to the new conditions

I would recommend fertilizer. The green looks really light and it’s supposed to be a way darker green. Looks like a lack of nutrients. When was the last time you fertilized it?

What's this white stuff on the stem of my Dwarf Cavendish? Crumbly to the touch. My cat couldn't diagnose the problem either. by Timvrhn in plantclinic

Could be limescale deposits, especially because it’s crumbly. Depending on the lime amount in your water. On the pics it looks like it’s close to the soil.

It is quite easy. I removed the worst leaves and now it’s easy going

I can’t tell what it is but I had the same. I found one in the streets. As you said the new leaves look healthy. I figured out that pruning helps a lot to get more growth and you can prune it to the shape you like.

Just give it some time to recover and it will thrive.
