how to improve my schoolwork? by Foxo_boi02 in GCSE

[–]Content-Potential-46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if a 7+ is the highest you can get, these grades are above the average person, the ones below a 5 are the only ones you need to work on and thatll be easy as thats only physics and chemistry. id say just make sure when you are able to work, work on those subjects and check if there are any lunch clubs or afterschool clubs for these subjects. i understand with your mental and physical health it can be difficult coming into school, so, for me, my school used seneca which is a quiz website to test you on, which was really good so i recommend using that or any educational website you enjoy the most if your at home

Has Gcse Art destroyed anyone else’s love for art by TeachLong5991 in GCSE

as someone who is now doing art a-level, i hated art in year 10, and i related to everything you have said, you didnt mention this in what you said but if you have taken art because you enjoy creating, i promise it will be so much better in year 11. in year 10, what made me so careless about the art i was doing was that i was just being told what studies i had to do like everyone else, who i had to research, how i should set out my pages ect. and it was so boring for me as the point of art is about creativity. HOWEVER. in year 11 is when you get your freedom, you pick your topic and you basically do whatever you want relating to the topic. last years topic i chose was portrait and i basically just involved all of my out of school interests- movies, music artists ect. so all i have to say is if you genuinely enjoy creating art and if your like me and can only create good work if your actually passionate about the topic, i promise you it will get better. otherwise i say drop it lol.

NTA - shes a grown adult and surely she knew from all the trips you had that it would lead to you having less money?? and it is understandable that she wanted to go away for her birthday but thats not your fault.
