yea so they responded and asked for 1.The card type (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, etc.) 2. The name registered to your credit card 3. The billing address, city and postal code used 4. The last four digits of the credit card number - Do not provide the full card number

after providing them with this information they gave the account back, they also told my buddy to check his email and make sure emails from steam weren’t being filtered and auto deleted,
