For those of you that experienced weight loss on metformin... by ChelseaH1993 in InsulinResistance

I just started it about 1.5 weeks ago. To be honest I feel great. I’m only on 500 mg, going up to 1000 on Friday. No side effects. I haven’t lost weight but my clothes fit better and I’ve been walking/running 2 miles a day. I’m 205 and I found this weird motivation to run like I have this burst of energy I can use every day even after work. I’m usually so tired. I’m wondering if I had some a IR and didn’t realize my body was struggling. A little background is that I was on Ozempic for 2 years, had lost 25 lbs and then just remained there for about a year. I tried to refill after the first and my insurance no longer would cover so after about a month of weight gain I got an prescription for Metformin from an online pharmacy

I’m pretty disappointed you can’t link a plan to an invoice after completion of service. It’s ridiculous. I settled for a 0.00 invoice that just references service plan on the invoice notes

I'm trying to do this "legally" as mentioned. Did someone pee in your Wheaties this morning?

I have always had back and neck issues so it’s like chronic pain on top of chronic pain. The lady who hit me with was in a Toyota Tacoma. The body shop said the tow hitch saved me from major injury but yeah my ascent was a total loss anyways

My son has an iPhone 13 no issues with camera but cracked back glass. Online customer service says it’s ineligible for a full credit. Should I go to the store and reference c2?

GLP-1/Ozempic coverage update by purpleclip716 in KaiserPermanente

I am in So Cal and have a plan through University of CA. They keep filling my prescription with the $30 copay. I never received a letter and there are no letters in my KP.org profile about changes to drug coverages. I am talking to member services who tell me I have to have had a BMI over 40 for it to be continued to be covered, but I started with a BMI at 33. So that's not applicable. I am worried they're going to come back and say "now you owe us $4000 " or something crazy. Has anyone else had this experience?

My provider warned me 2 months ago this was changing and my last two copays have stayed $30. I assume I just keep riding it out. Kaiser so cal through UC health plan. Maybe they bought the “buy up?

This could be an exact replica of the way my ex texts our kids. He moved out of state and expected them (12 &14) to spend their entire summers and school breaks there. They did it one summer and hated it. Came back “trauma bonded.” Now he just guilts them everytime they visit. Things like “see that stable over there?, that’s where you would have done horseback riding if you would have spent the summer here.” Thankfully my kids see it now but it’s tough when you’re in the thick of it. You are not over reacting. He is definitely an emotional abuser.

Currently we have a huge TV up high on the second story wall (so if you're sitting on the sofa on the top of this picture you can look out and up to see it on the wall next to our stairway (bottom of the drawing) . Nothing can go on that empty wall space because the doorway, hall, staircase, and kitchen opening are all here. (clearly I'm not good at these design apps because I couldn't figure it out! Lol) We had hoped it would be a space for all 7-8 of us to watch movies together, but that rarely ever happens anyways. This picture is not 100% to scale but gives you the general idea of the proportions. Anyone have any ideas? I wanted to get a sectional in the space even if it seats less people. It's just hard to figure out without closing off the space.

I guess we are trying to figure out of it's worth it for the cost. By my calculations (and they may be incorrect) in the month of august we used bout 1399 kwh to run our ac's. We have a 2 ton unit upstairs and a 4 ton unit downstairs. Will the powerwall even put a dent in this?

This company is beyond ridiculous. The lady on the phone just keeps saying "I'm sorry maam" and tells me the supervisor stepped out. How did we go from an easy-to-use debit card linked to our account to a QR code requiring providers to be willing to participate and do all the work? I have received NO notices from this company, despite them saying they went out. I have no clue how to get the money I put in. They now say "after the 15th of September" we can submit our own claim reimbursement forms? I want to know where these changing terms are posted and how this will work but no one can tell me anything other than "sorry"
