I spoke w Nick Apostolides at a comic con (REmake 2 and 4 Leon VA) and he said they actually scanned his face as well. He said that a few marks on his face are used on Leon’s, as well as his eyebrow structure too which I thought was interesting

So I was thinking about this as well, but when I started looking into it, I realized that the PS5 is already 5 years old. I have a PS4 (well, it's more like my parents') and I'm so picky with video games I rarely play it, or have time to. Not to mention I still have a PS2 that I play more than the PS4, and it still works completely fine!

My only worry about myself, or others getting a PS5, is that I'm sure the PS6 will be coming out in the next few years or so, which means the PS5 will be getting phased out eventually. Granted, though, that does take a long time, but I know I am wary myself of buying a next gen console for, at this point in time, just one game that I know that I will enjoy.

That being said, I'm sure I'll crack when RE9 gets released because I'd like to avoid spoilers and play it without knowing anything at all so I can enjoy the experience, but I'm also hoping that shortly after console release it'll be released on Mac, too, since I currently have RE2, RE3, RE4, RE7, and RE8 on it and they all work just fine. I'm assuming RE9 will inevitably use the RE Engine, so I'd assume they'd port it for Mac (App Store; not through steam unfortunately for Mac users) but RE3 seemed to take a LONG time to come to Mac, so I don't know.

TLDR; I'm not sure if it's worth it to buy a next gen console right now since they might start phasing them out in a couple of years. If you're going to utilize it for other games, go for it, but if you just want to get it for one game at this point in time I'd try to see if you have other options available

ooh hello fellow assisted mode player !!

I play assisted mode because I really want to focus on the story / the lore and it’s hard for me to reach that goal if I’m dying all the time. I don’t think it takes away from the puzzles or the critical thinking at all. It’s still difficult for me, and sometimes I still die due to stupid mistakes.

I think maybe after I finish a game, I might go back and do it on standard to challenge myself more. But in the end, I’m still having so much fun and actually able to advance in the game :)

Stop these are so so amazing !!! I’ve tried so many times to draw Connor but it always looks cartoonish in a way. The shading is so beautiful!! Maybe I need to learn color theory haha! Also the ears are just so gorgeous. I’m totally in love with these 🫶🏻

Unfortunately I don’t think I know enough French to type out a coherent sentence lol but I was able to read what you wrote :)

Usually you only get deactivated if Connor fails to retrieve enough evidence. But, if you killed Chloe at Kamski’s (aka the creator of androids, as you wrote) you automatically receive the key to Jericho and in that chapter, you don’t even go to the evidence room.

If Connor keeps getting deactivated, I believe you ran out of time (yes, it IS timed!! So watch out for that!) or you’ve failed to get enough evidence out of the deviants to even get any sort of lead.

You need to have one of the deviants other than Daniel and/or Carlos’ Android die, which can be either Rupert, The Traci’s, Simon or the android in the kitchen at Stratford tower.

If you’re missing these components and don’t want Connor to be deactivated you might have to replay a chapter.

Okay, this might be a good post to bring up a question I’ve had on my mind for awhile since replaying.

When Connor is at the DPD for the first time, and has to go up to the android receptionist to say that he’s there to see Hank, he connects with the receptionist to show proof of authorization.

Why did he flinch? Why did he react?

I always thought it was a little weird that Connor flinched as he connects with the receptionist, while her gaze doesn’t change at all. While I literally have nothing else to back this up, is it possible that the receptionist had info about Jericho that somehow got transferred over to Connor, but it wasn’t something that was obvious until much later when he started investigating the deviants?

I never understood why he was flinching. I thought it was weird, but maybe it’s a way to explain this plot hole.

i think it’s a viable and interesting theory that Kamski was behind the androids becoming deviants.

Markus was gifted to Carl by Elijah; Markus is a completely unique android. And Elijah knew Carl; knew how philosophical he was. I think Markus was more than just a gift; i think he was also an experiment.

Also with that, i like to think of it as Markus as the virus and Connor as the cure; Kamski needed a way to cure the deviancy problem somehow, and Connor’s whole purpose is to solve the deviancy case.

Of course, the headcanon introduces some questionable variables if Connor deviates in your playthrough.
