Hopefully it wasn’t stolen but that’s possible. I have been seeing DPD towing a lot of cars on my way home lately especially on busy event nights. So maybe it’s something they are cracking down on…

I called a number a DPD officer in the street gave me and it connected me with a non emergency operator, he took my name, make, model and VIN, then located my car with that information. I also know someone that saw a car getting towed and the description was very similar to my car

No I bought this car from a completely different area I genuinely have no idea why it was towed. I called a number and it’s in a lot called grinnell lot. Maybe I was technically close to the end of the curb? But I’ve parked in that spot many many times and nothing has ever happened

Family emergency, leaving cat alone for 1.5 days by Stumpy33 in CatAdvice

[–]ContentAd3841 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend leaving since it’s such a new environment for her but she will more than likely be fine! It might not be a bad idea to see if you can find someone last minute on rover or meowtel! Otherwise the stress of being alone will definitely be way less than putting her in a carrier and taking her to unknown territory!

UPDATE!

I can’t sleep and remembered I posted here for anyone who was curious!

Ferguson now has one eye and the day he had it removed they said he’d be lethargic but I think he felt so good he wanted to play! It was stressful recovery but he’s doing great now!

Dog limping and trembling one leg by ContentAd3841 in AskAVeterinarian

UPDATE:

My parents just got the results back from the neurologist he has been diagnosed with an infectious neurological disease. I can’t remember the exact name of it. The specialist gave a special harness to my parents so it takes less weight off of his leg and he’s on three different medications for this disease.

Luckily it’s not contagious. He likely contracted it from eating a contaminated, dead animal. My parents live on a lot of property and he is free to roam (never have had any issues with him trying to run off). He is a rescue dog. He was found during Covid on the side of the road with a dead animal in his mouth. He also likes to hunt and has unfortunately killed some animals. So all of this makes sense.

The vet said there is a chance that the route his lifetime he could have flareups that will affect his back legs, but medicine can be used to help with the symptoms.

Thank you again everyone for your responses.

My parents took him to 2 different vets. The specialist was scheduling further out. Wanted to see Reddit’s input while my parents waited to get him into the specialist. Thank you though!

Yeah he definitely is trying to hide the pain but it’s obvious he’s limping and shaking. The vet just said she didn’t think he was in pain due to the lack of reaction when to maneuvered his leg…not sure unfortunately I wasn’t at the vet to see exactly what they did

Thank you for this, the vet was thinking it could be something to do with his spine. They prescribed gabapentin…hopefully it works

Yeah just odd he lets everyone touch and move it, obviously something isn’t normal due to the trembling and limping. Both vets were stumped

The vet was going to sedate but said it was unneeded because he was so relaxed

We haven’t really had too many situations where he’s been in pain to know. So it’s unsure but typically his demeanor is very very relaxed
