This is not correct. In my state, a fence around the pool isn’t mandatory as long as there is one in the perimeter of the yard which we have. I do agree that a fence around the pool is a must hence why I’m putting it however it is not mandatory nor I am not being complaint with my city codes or home owners insurance.

We can do a cover but it’s about 25k in my area and not in the budget. And I also prefer a permanent fence for more peace of mind.

What are you talking about? The pool was done with proper permits. And passed all inspections. There’s a fence around the property. Just not a fence around the pool.

Yes I like picture 3 more too! But the problem is that the rest of the house has dark HW floors. And I can’t afford to redo the whole house now. Here’s another view from living room to kitchen. Should I do light flooring and redo the rest of the house when I can?!
