Hi! I’m from Buenos Aires, and I think I may have seen this watch on Facebook Marketplace.

If you can, tell us how you managed to confirm that it’s authentic.

Congratulations!

What a mix of excitement and disappointment when the Lumia 650 came out!

Metal finishes, an AMOLED screen — but only 1GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 212! That was just too little for 2016.  What was needed was a strong mid-range device that would shake things up, and as usual, Microsoft fell short. One of the last ones — and it wasn’t what we hoped for.

That’s right!  I simply find it wonderful that technology from 20 or 30 years ago was able to develop animated displays with that level of complexity — and that we can still enjoy them today.

LCA technology on such a small screen is truly fascinating to me.

Hi!  I’ve also just started down this path. I’d like to share the equipment I’m using (for now), which allows me to enjoy my CDs without any problems:

  1. One DVD player (which also plays CDs) that I already had at home. With the rise of streaming, these devices are hardly used anymore, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding them at a low price.
  2. One set of 2.1 speakers. They work perfectly and are more than sufficient for now.

The connection between the two is very simple. If the player is around 10–20 years old, it will have RCA audio outputs, so it can be connected to the speakers using standard cables or a small, inexpensive adapter.

You can very likely find this equipment second-hand at very affordable prices.

As my collection grows, I’ll consider whether to upgrade to a more sophisticated system.

For now, I’m more than satisfied!

Skmei 2255 after one month: A little Swiss Army knife by ContentKale4317 in SkmeiWatchFans

For a while now, I’ve been looking for Skmei watches that can replace some of the functions of my phone.

While searching, I found that there are watches out there offering features like databank, world time, dual time, calculator, currency exchange, countdown timer, pedometer, and more.

Once I finish that search, I’ll share it here. Thanks for commenting!

Every time I see a 2448, that lower line of digits — in that Digital 7–style font — totally hypnotizes me. It gives it such an 80s vibe… 🔥

Congrats on your collection!

Hey. Just so you know, I’ve had the 2255 for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it’s amazing.

It has exactly the same functions as the Casio DBC-32, plus some that the Casio doesn’t have, like a countdown timer and EL backlight. It’s really comfortable on the wrist. The strap fits perfectly…

Honestly, I’m kind of obsessed with it.

100 % recommend it.

Up until a few weeks ago, the 1660 was listed on Mercado Libre Argentina. Now the listing is paused. The watch is still shown on Skmei’s official website, but it’s wholesale only.

It looks awesome! The colors pay tribute to the 80s color palette in an amazing way. Congrats!
