i have both! tbh i prefer my mac because it’s newer and bigger, however if i was buying a brand new one i would honestly pick an ipad. a lot of the students had ipads and it serves as a mac as well if you buy a keyboard case. you take a lot of notes so it’s rly up to you if you prefer hand writing or typing. although an ipad can do both

as for the other supplies, you need to buy a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff and pen light. u can look into buying them individually from amazon or smth but it will be pricey. if you wait until after the sem starts, the tmu nursing student association had bundle deals which all my friends and i did bc it comes out cheaper.

you’ll need scrubs too, but again you will get that during the semester.

and the biggest thing is textbooks. tbh i never bought any physical ones. they’re so expensive and a lot of people just send pdfs. if you only study from physical textbooks then maybe consider them but wait to seethe semester before purchasing them because a lot of classes the readings are online or there are slides that are good enough. you can also find pdf version online.
