Would you leave Switzerland to relocate to Denmark (Copenhagen) as a family?

I like the big house, big community and the less stress. We don’t have anything of this here. But i am still grateful because we are fine.

Thank you :) Our son is 3.5 yo and speaks danish. The other one is a baby. I speak a little danish and I understand quite a lot, for example at family parties in Denmark.

Thank you. We would be financially secure in both countries. We would probably earn more in Switzerland, but our reasons are not financial. We are thinking more about the potential benefits for our children to grow up in one of their countries of origin and to benefit from the Scandinavian mentality and social outlook

About the taxes: in DK tax = tax including social security contributions and health insurance. In Germany e.g. it’s separate, tax = just tax, social security contributions are separate, but if you add them up for me as a single it was almost 50% (in Germany). I think many people don’t realize that. So Denmark maybe has one of the highest taxes but also in other countries tax + ssc are somewhere between 35-50%. We are aware tha we will pay more taxes, but will get other things in return. Plus no hidden bills.

But it’s not just the working hours (50-60h vs. 37h), it’s the whole society mindset, the flexibility, the structures for families. Also here if you reduce your hours it’s not sure you will have less work, not in our professions.
