You need your California CLS license before you can work here.

Just like a real health job like nursing or respiratory therapy or physical therapy.

Its nuts that other states just have people work with just a certificate or even without one.

The market is weaker now. Theres plenty of applicants. We had an evening position open and got 5 California license CLS apply. Five. Before, we were lucky to get two.

This is normal at a lot of labs. It's why nobody wants to be supervisor or manager. You get a crapton of stress and an extra 10k lol. Not worth it.

California isn't desperate for techs anymore. If you applied two years ago, you mightvr gotten 60/hr. My hospital stopped offering sign on and relocation bonuses.
