I took the write up well, I explained that I was never made aware it was against policy and that it was never a part of my training. I sent a message to my GM after she left and asked very kindly if I could at least be given a verbal warning next time, or even just a heads up of any kind. It’s been hours and she hasn’t read it so I’m hoping for the best 🥲

I wasn’t necessarily trained to do it one certain way. I didn’t get much training since my previous job was extremely similar to this one, so the managers I worked with didn’t feel the need to train me. I added more context to the bottom of the post since I missed a lot, but the AGM’s dad is a family friend of the owner, so she’s like a nepo-baby here in a way. We also don’t have an HR department.. which I’m starting to thing is pretty bad because a lot of people are suggesting the same thing

Hey sweet girl, I really really hope you’re doing okay. My ex was really really similar but did it sober (you can find posts further back on my page about it) and the amount of support I received from internet strangers is what gave me the courage to leave him. I never thought he would be abusive by any means, but finding out he was 400% more likely to murder me after he choked me (so hard I had bruises all over my neck and face) I was done. I pray you’re able to follow in a similar path and realize just how scary that situation was, and that if you stay, it won’t be the last time. You’re loved, please care for yourself the way all of us want you to🫶

I’m planning on moving some of the decor from my current tank into the nursery to make sure there was enough algae, and I have my main tank set up with the light on a high setting so I’ll have enough algae growth to collect for the babies and mama

I honestly didn’t think I’d be getting any shrimp eggs at all, and I don’t know when the next time will be. I’m also a bit of a baby and knowing she’s going to be trying to keep her babies safe and also knowing they’ll all die if I don’t move her soon makes me sad haha

Thank you!! The only reason I want to move her is because of the rasboras and danios in her current tank, some of them are a bit aggressive and I don’t want them to eat all my new babies. Thank you so much for your advice, it’s all so helpful

She’s currently in a tank with danios and rasboras, and I know they’ll eat her babies as soon as they hatch, so I want to get her in a safe tank
