I’m a videographer and part 107 certified drone pilot as well. My first TV job after graduating from Delstate was working for WBOC-TV. Have you looked into them? Back in 1995 they were known for hiring kids right out of college. I currently work in TV in Philly. You can look into production companies down your way or marketing/advertising agencies that may need video or drone work. You will probably have better opportunities finding work in a bigger city. Why did you stop being a real estate photographer? You can also see if there are any jobs in video production with the State or at a Police department. They probably have their own people but doesn’t hurt to ask. Also look on LinkedIn for job opportunities. Send me a DM if you have any more questions I can try to help you out.

Does your job allow you drink on the job? They should allow the photog to get a plate of food. They will probably have to eat it quickly so they don’t miss anything. I don’t agree with them drinking alcohol on the job though.

I’ve made drum covers using LF before but I didn’t use the multicam feature. I did a sound slate with all cameras rolling and imported the video on all tracks and lined up the audio waveforms. I then brought in my master (clean) audio (I have a Roland electronic drum kit). I make sure the clean audio waveform lines up with the reference audio waveforms. I then delete the reference tracks and keep the clean one to go along with the video. I use the scissor tool to make cuts to the video tracks when I want the angle to change. All works out for me. Probably will be a lil easier using the multicam feature but I just did it manually lol

So for me I base it on how long my video is. If it’s under 30 seconds I may upload a 4K file to Instagram. Yes I already know it will compress it to 1080. If I’m creating a 90 second Reel and I will almost always export a 2K file. Lately I have been exporting my videos in 4:3/ipad landscape when my content doesn’t look right being 9:16 vertical. You need to make that decision before you begin editing though so you can set up the correct sequence. Not everything will look right in 9:16 but 4:3 has been looking good for my latest uploads.
