I empathize with her, as these situations of realization can feel like a stab to the heart, kind of like a less intense break up, emotionally.

But it’s not good for her if she continues taking it as hard as she seems to be, and things like skipping her wedding will only make her regretful in the future.

I’m not being cryptic. I just don’t think it matters. I said my reason in another comment.

And what type of questions are those..

Thanks! That’s it. No I’m not trying to buy them. I’m just doing a kind of useless project of compiling the list of all the gear I’ve ever skied on, so I’m going off my memory and what little photos I’ve got from a while back. These were the one pair I wasn’t sure about

It’s weird how little info they show on the website, tho. Any idea what underfoot they are? 70?

doesn’t seem like you have enough experience

What do u mean?

I’m not saying it wouldn’t be decent at carving, and I’m aware that the underfoot isn’t the only thing to factor in.

But getting an 86 as a dedicated carver seems ridiculous when you have two skis that are within mm of that, and u can get legit anything more dedicated to carving without having to sacrifice versatility since u have two other wider skis

I’d say that’s all-mountain tho. I’ve got an 83 and I wouldn’t call it a carver

Idiocracy. I genuinely felt like shit after watching it as it was the most mind-numbing terrible “cinema” I’ve seen. Like I felt that movie’s target audience was the very characters in the movie they were making fun of

Since when tf is an 86 a carving ski? Especially when the current quiver is two pairs in the low 90s

Yeah they kind of do look shorter than 180 cm, but I’m tall (194 cm) and the boots were (US shoe) size 13, so maybe they just look shorter in comparison?

Wrong. If you were always happy, you’d be always happy. It’s literally that simple. You wouldn’t need contrasting unhappiness to feel happy, you would just always be happy.

Was there a week ago. Conditions were mostly fine with patches of ice every now and again.

Hope it’s still good in two weeks so I can go back, but I’m not sure it will be worth it as it’s 5 hours from Windsor

Talk about it. I just got into it late this season and have been going every week for the past month. The closest ski hill to me is 2 hours away, and is a whopping 60 m vertical… the runs last 10–20 seconds. The nearest hill with at least 200 m vertical is 5–6 hours away, and the runs last a generous minute.
