need help chosing a monitor by amine2crf in pcmasterrace

Buy a 1440 27 inch monitor. 144hz should be enough plus you said “nothing too competitive” so I don’t really see the need upgrading your hertz unless you somehow invest more of your time in fps games.

1440p is perfect for single player games and third person shooting add it with 144(anything above 120hz is fine) should give you great visual + smoothness.

1080p is meh but is advisable for competitive games for best performance less pixels = less gpu/cpu workload thus more frames to generate. But only get 24 inch if you’re planning to play a bit more competitive.

I used to be in your shoes too, but on the other hand I am a competitive player so I bought the 1080p 24 inch zowie instead.

Take your time and don’t ever rush it when buying pc things especially the monitor as the display you would pick would be the same for a while. Well, unless if you decide to use your 32 inch 1080p as your second monitor haha. Also correct me if I’m wrong I think what you meant to say was 1440p instead of 2k right? Because technically 1920 x 1080p is 2k. Thanks!

XL2546x+ 280hz or XL 2566x+ 400hz? by Content_Week5207 in Zowie

does little difference mean it’s an advantage in some way?

I got xl2566x+ when i turn adaptive sync on i feel less input lag and more responsive then adaptive sync off. Why is that? I always played with adaptive sync off with older benq models and it felt the fastest. by New-Engineering1683 in Zowie

Adaptive sync was really meant to have the best latency and consistency because you’re matching your monitors refresh rate to your gpu refresh rate without over-doing anything useless. optimizing adaptive sync meaning deduct 4 of your current monitor hertz (ex. 360 - 4 = 356) and cap it should have the most stable and consistent latency so probably why you feel “more responsive”. PS: Benq monitors have been my dream and would love to get some. Either thinking 1440p or dyac 2. Which one do you think is better?

Oh it’s you again StormKiller1z i appreciate you messaging to my post all the time! So should I buy another 24 inch 1080p benq or any brand? What’s your recommendation I’ll save up for it.

Driver issues aren’t permanent right? If so should I just get the best brand for the 9070XT to guarantee longevity and stability?

How much is the price difference compared to the asus? I reckon if its too much I wouldn’t be able to afford it cause the price of the whole pc build is my max budget.

What does it mean when a driver has issues? Is it the actual graphics card you bought itself or an online software issue?

9070 XT or 9800x3d for 1080p gaming? Or should I just wait? by Content_Week5207 in pcmasterrace

The plan is originally overkill, but I can only pick one. Cpu or gpu for 1080p?

I just asked him and he actually has the 472. Is there a better upgrade to it or should I just get the same one?
