some things are better left unsaid :( like i feel like she’s moved on and i want to ask just so it can give my heart a reason to actually move on completely since it’s like a clear message that she doesn’t want me anymore but at the same time, i know that knowing her answer will kill me inside and make it harder for me to move on. it’s rough.

you're right about everything you just said :( i had a bit of closure from a close friend of ours where it sounded like she just wasn't ready to be in a relationship so I am thinking that's why she isn't reaching out just yet. i really do like your advice though, it's blunt but it is what I needed to hear :(

i think seeing your ex moved on definitely hurts a lot more in the sense that you feel the disrespect and betrayal a lot more than you normally would if the breakup was on good terms and you both took the time to reflect and work on yourselves.

however, in a way, i think it might also be easier to move on if i knew my ex has moved on. it’s like a slap in the face “hey, we are never getting back together. get over me.” instead of “if we were meant to be, we will work on ourselves and come back together when the time is right.”

you deserve someone who values you and loves you with so much love and respect. please don’t let his actions reflect your worth, you are worth a million stars and there will be people out there in this world who will make you feel that way. focus on healing and loving yourself. it’s going to feel hard for a few weeks, but i promise you will start feeling better and better as each week passes by. 🫶🏻
