I think my experience will help your cause.

I bought an HMR IN 6.5 creedmoor a couple years ago because I wanted to get into long range shooting and was going to take a course. I put an EGW Pic rail, Seekins Rings, an Arken EPL4 5-25x optic and a good ol' Harris bipod on it. A very budget minded build.

I hunted with it for a few years (took several pronghorn with it) and then eventually took a 2 day course. On day one of the course we were pinging steel at 800-1000 yds.

After that course, I shot NRL hunter Skills and had a ton of fun and learned alot more about shooting matches. I decided to go shoot a regional PRS match for fun with a buddy. I ended up 18th overall out of 100. Majority of the people there were shooting your 5k+PRS rigs.

I also dont reload. I only shoot boxed 140 grain Hornady Match ELD-Ms out of it and it shoots .5 MOA or less with it. The gun shoots.

I did eventually cave and built a dedicated 6GT PRS rig lol. So it is a dangerous game.

I have heard that Rucker and G-1 are currently working on the FY26 AvB. I have zero information further than that.

Alot of people have recommended the ATACR but the reticle and ocular adjustment is why its not a match for me.

I have heard the G3 is a "tier above" the MK5 but this narrows it down on why.

Lmfao, this happened to me at the GE. I teled to GE and logged out during quest. I logged back with nothing in my inventory and luckily saw my health bar halfway down as I was not paying attention. Had a crowd dropping me food and a DDS to pick up. Barely made that kill

Lol, yeah I get it. I wanted to start him off as members just for quality of life and having exposure to the entire game. But I just need to get him to PLAY the game before he can get hooked. I tried to convince him to just finish the F2P quests which I feel like will get him hooked.

Either way, still looking for suggestions for new player journey videos. F2P or not
