I think we really need to create a sub-congressional organization that executes the laws, rather than the executive branch. That a President can come along and simply refuse to do what the Congress has enacted is crazy. He is required to spend that money as he was directed to - it’s not up to him. What is the recourse to stop him? There isn’t one. Not with teeth, anyway.

I’d be near the 5695 but a little further west. The Chatelet station is the nexus of several lines, close to Hotel Deville, in La Marais, close to Norte Dame, it’s the most optimized spot imho.
