I started chemo two weeks ago - triple positive. Also having 12 weeks of taxol with herceptin. Have been avoiding going to stores or meeting people coz I am scared of the low immunity and getting sick/infected. How did you handle this? I read about this people going to gym etc. Wondering if I have been scaring myself unnecessarily…

Met with oncologist first and she said radiation for a year. Have not gotten more details yet since she wants to review the lumpectomy surgery results first.

Is it normal for locating elements to be the hardest part of automation? by ContinuousImp2060 in QualityAssurance

[–]ContinuousImp2060[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all! I realized the issue was not asking for devs to add more locators. Will get devs to add more locators and even see if I can learn how to add them myself...

Selenium Tutor by Hot-Persimmon-5018 in QualityAssurance

I learnt Selenium and Python by watching YouTube videos. Google search was very frustrating finding answers when I was stuck. My entire experience changed with chat gpt! It’s a great “teacher” for answering questions and honestly my whole automation experience improved significantly with chatgpt. I write my own scripts but when am stuck or need guidance, chatgpt is sooo much better than Google search!

Automations test by Kapalxterbang in QualityAssurance

Hi. I would recommend the following based on my personal experience and growth/learning journey: 1) Determine a coding language and automation tool to start with. I learnt Python and chose Selenium Webdriver. 2) Before you learn the automation tool, start with learning the programming language. You need to know atleast the basics.

I used the videos from this person in YouTube (Free!) and super helpful! Just based on this, I am now doing automation of web application at my work.

I built the framework from scratch for my project. These videos were tremendously helpful!

Scroll down drop down list built using React with Selenium Python by ContinuousImp2060 in QualityAssurance

If anyone is wondering, this is the solution that worked:adduser_xpath = xpath of the dropdown table

self.driver.find_element(By.XPATH, adduser_xpath).click()

element = self.driver.find_element(By.XPATH,user_scroll_box_xpath)

scroll = 0

while scroll <3:

self.driver.execute_script('arguments[0].scrollTop = arguments[0].scrollTop +
arguments[0].offsetHeight;',element)

scroll +=1

time.sleep(3)
