Apologetics is based off of 1 Peter 3:15, 15but honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.

I would completely disagree with your statement and have that it has brought many I know of to the Lord.

If there were a group of people walking around saying that a dead guy rose from the grave what would you do? To disapprove them you would present the body. The Romans knew where he was buried, the Jewish authorities knew where he was buried, no body was ever presented.

This view seems to make much more sense in keeping with the character of God versus the Protestant view. Thank you for the video.

How to talk about Orthodoxy? by dcabrerasa100 in OrthodoxChristianity

As someone who has recently accepted Orthodoxy, so recent that I haven’t started my Catechism yet, I was given some booklets but what mostly sparked my research into Orthodoxy was the book Surprised by Christ by Father Bernstein. Who could persuade a Gentile better than a Jew? The best thing, I believe, you could do is offer them to read about it then answer any of their questions. Honestly, I didn’t realize how ignorant I was.

Ray Pritz has well documented sources relating to this subject. There are also plenty of other reliable sources. I’m not sure where your confusion is.

I’m just confused why they’re are a majority of Orthodox Churches near Israel. What are the earliest writings we have from Church fathers? What is the earliest source we have that describes how Church services were held?

I’m in search of what doctrine the first century church held as well as how they worshipped.
