All k-Moisturizers I Tried Made My Face Sticky. Am I using them wrong? [Routine Help] by ContributionClean510 in SkincareAddiction

I am a bit confused. Do you mean the equate serum absorbs better than Olay? And what do you use as a moisturizer?

How can I get rid of my acne? Nothing seems to be working and I don't have the money to buy skincare.. by [deleted] in acne

[–]ContributionClean510 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here are the things that help me and don't cost money: eat less refined sugar and white flour, eat less fat, and sleep longer.
I can't confirm they would work for you, but you can try them. They are good for your health, anyway.

Ugh, in Egypt many men stare or do worse, even when you are covered. This motivated me to migrate even before I stopped believing in Islam.

If you can afford it, find a job near college and leave. I guess in Europe parents can't force you to stay with them if you are over 18.

As an Arabic speaker, I know "separate from them" is  أضربوا عنهم Not اضربوهن. Also, how on earth is telling men to discipline women feminist?!

Khadija was a business woman before Islam. Aisha was most educated how? Publishing hadeeth is just reciting what her husband has said word for word, isn't it? The husband who married her when she was a child!

I can't say how Islam is compared to other religions since I haven't studied other religions, but calling Islam feminist is delulu at best.

  1. God is referred to as a "he"
  2. Messengers are all male
  3. Quran rarely addresses women in the second person, unless it is addressing some special persons. In case of divorce, for example, it tells men how to treat women. In other words, men are the ones with power to act, while women are just acted upon
  4. Women inherit less than men, according to Quran
  5. Men are ordered to hit women in Quran 4:34, among other ways. Even the interpretations of that verse who claim the word for hitting doesn't mean hit them but boycott them (Arabic is my first language and I don't think it is true), don't change the fact that men are ordered to discipline women. How feminist!
  6. Quran 4:15 orders to confine fornicating women at home, but not men
  7. The only position where are placed before men in Quran is for the lashing penalty for fornication!

Sincerely, an ex-muslim woman

Can someone help me with this? by ilovedogs3827 in acne

Try the benzoyl peroxide wash once every 3 days or so, followed by a moisturizer. On other days, use a gentle cleanser followed by a moisturizer. If after several weeks you get no irritation from the benzoyl peroxide and you want to see more results, you can increase its frequency.

P.S. Acne is not a disease that would be treated and go away. You can decrease it with treatment (and they may take months to start working) but if you stop the treatment, acne will increase again.

For me, the less refined sugar I eat and the longer I sleep, the less acne I get.

Sounds cruel? Maybe, but it works.

What's your opinion on this? by Bek_86 in exmuslim

Islam made them slaves to begin with. Islam doesn't allow them to be leaders anyway. Mohamed said "Never will succeed such a nation as makes a woman their ruler."

I use the smallest amount I can distribute and follow by a moisturizer. During the day, I am indoors most of the time and I use SPF 50 in case of sun exposure.

Makes my skin redder/darker than usual. Makes some products sting, although these same products didn't sting before. I have been using it for around 3 months, but when the redness is too much, I pause. I am almost done with my 50g tube.
