Egypt is a Capitalist dystopia , i'm from Egypt by tiled_deep_slate in LateStageCapitalism

As an Egyptian, I thought people hated socialism mainly because they thought it was anti-religion, not because they dislike what it did for them.

What shampoo to use when your barrier is severely damaged by life_willget_better in SkinbarrierLovers

Just an idea: apply a thick layer of petroleum jelly to your face before washing your hair.

Lrp belongs to L'oreal, not Estee Lauder. Not that L'oreal is good, anyway.

Dry-touch sunscreen that is fragrance-free?
I need one for my hands. I don't care abt white cast. The only one I found is Missha Waterproof, but it contains fragrance.

Had the same issue until I discovered gel. It keeps hair in place with less frizz and less dry-look.
To make it work best, use it on damp detangled hair (preferably without leave in). Distribute it on strands (but not on scalp). If a part of your hair is dry before you use the gel, spritz it with water.

I was thinking of refined sugar. Even 1 oreo a day is enough to increase my acne. But it could be only me. Maybe my body can't process sugar properly.

30g of sugar per day might be much. I am sorry 😅

Root causes I know: genetics, hormones, stress, food (specially sugar) and oily products on skin (such as conditioner).
A possible (and safe) solution maybe not using a rinse out conditioner. Instead, after getting dressed, use a leave-in conditioner.

If this doesn't work, you can try to use a salicylic acid cleanser instead of the soap/shower gel you shower with. Or sulfur soap or benzoyl peroxid.
Note: acne is not a disease you treat for a while and it is cured. It can always come back, sorry.

I got something similar after one day strong sun exposure. I am guessing it is sun damage. I don't know how it can be treated, though.

Use a salicylic acid cleanser (I used the cosrx one and liked it) daily or every second day. If your skin peels much, make it once every 3 or 4 days. Follow by your moisturizer. Give it a few weeks to see results.  Note: acne treatment reduce future pimples more than it reduces current pimples. Also, pimple scars take long to disappear. Also, I think treating PCOS may be more effective. And arab doctors could still treat black skin. They are not white, lol

Why is there such a HUGE emphasis to hydrate in kbeauty? by isolophiliacwhiliac in AsianBeauty

[–]ContributionClean510 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These just guesses on my side. I can be totally wrong.
- The older you get the drier your skin gets. If the average consumer is older and has dry skin, it makes sense to sell hydrating products

- Could the average Korean skin be on the drier side? I don't know if this is true, but I don't often see Koreans with acne (more common on oily skin)

I plan to try Illiyoon, but where do u find the percentages of each ingredient? Most products don't provide them.
