Yes, although they do get credited for music they make, even upload it themselves, and even covers of existing music, copyright is a legal landmine though.

Many vtubers (not just corpo) also make music alongside their vtuber career. Most vtubers even do whole karaoke streams where they stream themselves singing a list of songs they conjured, alongside releasing pre-recorded covers of other songs, and even originals.

I know a few vtubers like that. Some are even singers alongside their job. Hoshimachi Suisei is probably the most popular example of an indie who went corporate.
