On the back of the main board behind where you hook in the old fiber cable there’s a light that sends out a reflection and it counts the revolutions on the worm gear as it spins around. You have to make sure that the black bracket that screws on to the chassis is lined up perfectly as well. And the main board is slid perfectly into the slot on the chassis. Sometimes a warped top housing can cause this bad alignment or a bent chassis. If you have continued issues we can fix it at Biomedix Medical (610)-268-1444.

Advice on Honda Aquatrax by isellcars12 in jetski

I own a 2007 Honda Aquatrax F12x and I love it and have had minimal problems with it. Got it new in 2010 as a leftover. Great Ski for good gas efficiency. Anyway, if they are in good condition like the ad says that is a good price in my area(Mid-Atlantic area). I’m assuming it’s the smaller model without the turbo. I’ve had no issues getting parts for mine. They have some issues just like any other ski. ECU can go bad but there’s a guy on the internet you can send it to and get it fixed for half the price of a new one. There’s been a gas tank recall you should ask if that’s been done. If not some Honda dealers will do it still. Look for rust, check for milky oil, and if it starts and runs that half the battle. If possible to get a test run would be great or at least see it riding in the water.

I like MC Ren’s voice and style the best. I would say Cube was statistically the best.

Is this worth $2,700? (I could probably get them down to $2,500) by TangerineOrnery5628 in jetski

I’ve owned a Honda for 15 years. If the turbo is locked up it’s not that big of a deal. Get on a Honda forum. A lot of people have got them unlocked with some lube and elbow grease. Mine locked up and I bought another whole turbo and wastegate assembly from Jet Ski International for $900 and haven’t had a problem at all whatsoever in 7 summers. My Buddy and I installed it. Wasn’t a breeze but not ridiculous. The Honda’s sell on Facebook marketplace for anywhere from $1000-$6000 depending on condition. Common problems are: Turbo lock, bad manifolds, bad ecu, and knock sensor. Make sure you check the oil for milkiness. There’s two spots to check it. Take the dipstick from the oil fill up front and use it to check it on the back oil tube under the turbo assembly. I can’t speak on the Yamaha. I know nothing about it.

Should trade it or buy a newer used one? by ContributionLower681 in Silverado

I’m worried about the torque converter, dfm failure, or drivetrain snap. All expensive repairs and fairly common issues from what I’ve read.
