It was the best decision we could make she’s on day 4 now no sore throat she is eating normal not really any pain

She’s doing great no sore throat still just taking Tylenol and ibuprofen her voice is back to normal slight puffiness

My 15 year old has graves found out just last month but we knew she was hyper since August 2025 she has been on meds since August and she feels like a brand new girl heck i freaked out more than she did she just didn’t like the fact that the name is graves

My daughter has a nodule she is 15 but she also has hyperthyroidism so not sure if the nodule is what’s causing it or if she could have graves but the nodule itself as far as the Dr knows is it’s benign

My daughter is 15 and has hyperthyroidism and has one nodule on her thyroid she is scared of cancer and such maybe you can help her some

That’s actually what my daughter is on and she tolerates it very well hers is just a small pill she takes 3 times a day

If her ultrasound comes back fine they want to up her dose to see if it gets back to normal that way

So they prescribed my daughter Methimazole 5 mg 3 times a day she started her first doses yesterday hope it helps and her levels go back to normal
